Our curtains are made with hand stitched hems, mitred and weighted corners and 'sewn in' hand stitched deluxe cotton sateen lining in either cream or white. Blackout lining is also available for curtains where maximum exclusion of light is required. For interlined curtains we use a medium-weight bump which is suiltable for the majority of applications and fabric types. Interlined curtains not only look and feel sumptuous, but they also help to eliminate draughts and provide excellent sound deadening qualities. We always recommend interlining for silk or silk type fabrics to give body and fullness to the finished item. If in doubt, please feel free to discuss the options available to you.

Triple/Double Pleats

Hand finished double or triple pleats, sometimes called "French" or "Pinch" pleats are ideal for poles and made to fit the exact length of the pole with an allowance for overlap.

Eyelet

Eyelet heading for slotting directly onto the pole, which eliminates the need for rings. Eyelets are 40mm which are suitable for poles up to 30mm in diameter. Choose from Satin Silver, Gunmetal, Brass, Black and Bronze.

Pencil Pleat

A 3" header tape, drawn up to fit. Most suitable for tracks or under pelmets.

In recent years the uncluttered finish of Roman blinds has become increasingly popular. Most fabrics are suitable, but vertical patterns or stripes are good designs to use for this type of blind. Our blinds are all lined and can be interlined in the same way as curtains, if you prefer a rounder fuller look. Blackout lining is also available for maximum light exclusion (good for young children or shift workers bedrooms)

Blinds are delivered already strung onto a metal track (see below) which clips easily onto brackets fixed either to the wall or window frame. The pull cord at the side is secured by a cleat on the wall or frame near the bottom of the blind. Choose from either nickel,chrome cream (pictured) white or brass

We can also supply a mechanised chain lift headrail (see below) which simplifies the operation and eliminates the need for pull cords at the side of the blind. This type of system is particularly suited to large and/or heavy blinds which are more difficult to operate manually. Chains are available in burnished brass, white, chrome or black nickel.

Masquerade

Any of our fabrics can be made into cushion covers and come piped and zipped. Feather pads can be supplied if requested - please remember to tick the box! There is a minimum of 2 covers when ordered with blinds or curtains. We do not supply covers as a stand-alone item. Our covers come in the following sizes:
